BizHostNC Privacy Policy
BizHostNC - Web hosting and IT services in North CarolinaLast updated: October 22, 2026
BizHostNC ("we", "us") provides web hosting, email and IT services from North Carolina. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, company, email address, phone number and billing address when you sign up or order.
- Payment details: payments are handled by our payment processors. We keep a record of what you paid and when, but we don't store full card numbers.
- Support conversations: what you send us through tickets, the contact form, email or chat.
- Technical data: IP addresses, browser details and server logs created when you use our sites, the client area or your hosting. These help us keep services secure and fix problems.
- Your hosted content: files, databases and email stored on your hosting account. This is yours. We only access it to provide the service, keep backups, fix a problem you ask us about, or when the law requires it.
How we use it
- To set up, run, bill for and support your services.
- To send service notices such as invoices, renewal reminders, outage notices and security alerts.
- To protect our systems and customers from fraud, abuse and attacks.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
Only with companies that help us run the service, such as payment processors, our data center and backup storage providers, and domain registrars when you register a domain. They may use it only to provide that service to us. We may also share information when the law requires it or to protect the rights and safety of our customers or ourselves.
Cookies
The client area uses cookies to keep you signed in, remember your settings and protect forms from abuse. We don't use advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep account and billing records while your account is open and for as long as tax and accounting rules require after it closes. Backups of hosted content roll off on their normal schedule after a service ends.
Your choices
You can view and update your account details in the client area at any time. To ask for a copy of your information, or to have it deleted where the law allows, contact us.
Security
We use encrypted connections, hardened servers, firewalls and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us right away if you think your account has been compromised.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the date above. For important changes we'll also let customers know by email.
